Nothing quite like the superb excellence of Des's outstanding customer service. "The way you look" Frank Sinatra, paino musical for the background jamz. The seafood in my pasta is cooked to perfection! Thank you

A small group of us dined here today for a birthday treat. Hadn't been before but we were all stoked with the service, ambience and food. Couldn't fault a thing. Thanks team.

This is a hidden gem in Hobart. A high quality restaurant with fantastic views overlooking the bay. A great menu with good size portions and quality food. Service is also exceptional. We came here for Easter lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Even better as it isn’t on the tourist trail. Neither of us could finish our mains!

We enjoyed a return leisurely Sunday lunch at The Cornelian Bay Boathouse reinforcing this restaurant as one of our favourites. On arriving we were welcomed with prompt and professional service, (even though we’d arrived at the same time as a large group booking) and shown to our pre-booked table by the window. We especially like the open views of the bay and the Tasman Bridge in the far distance. There was a full house of other patrons but we were attentively looked after by the Staff who regularly checked in to top up drinks and check our satisfaction with our meals. We found them friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the menu items. For entrees we chose the Seafood Taster and Char-Grilled Octopus which were full of flavour and beautifully presented. Our main courses were the Spice Fried Squid and Seafood Pasta which were equally impressive both in taste and quantity of food. The seafood in all our dishes was tender and generous. (See Photos) We shared a dessert of Coffee Cheesecake which was also delicious and so much so that I forgot to take a photo because we got stuck into it immediately it arrived. We drank our Tasmanian wines by the glass which allowed each of the two of us to have our favourite but different variety. All in all, it was a very enjoyable return visit and I look forward to another in the hopefully not too distant future. Thank you to the Team at Cornelian Bay Boathouse.

Local Sydney gal and let me just say Cornelian Bay Boathouse beats any seafood in Sydney. seafood pasta best I've had all my life, quality of seafood is something else and there's just so much of it for the price. Next, service is top notch, the guys are so experienced and social. Overall, if I come back to Hobart this will be the first place we will come back to.

As a gluten free coeliac , I frequent this restaurant as every meal is delicious, perfectly cooked , tasty, safe for me and interesting. I have eaten the barramundi , squid, steak , duck , oysters, chicken and sides. The plant based meals are very tidy and tasty too. Service is friendly and timely - superb . Bar menu is impressive and venue is flexible with numbers and seating. I come here again and again as I am guaranteed a good experience in a pleasant atmosphere, everytime. When you have a pet with you and feel like a quick snack n drink there is a kiosk and they serve gluten free fryer fries .

Amazing restaurant – delicious food, quick service, and friendly staff. They truly deserve 5 stars!
